White Egret, Mustatatuck NWR

Oftentimes this time of year, I look back through the images in my archive that I've taken over the past year, not just to take a peek at where I've been, but to look at what I haven't posted.
I tried numerous times to get a decent image of the White Egrets that spend the warmer months at Mustatatuck NWR, but to no avail. This is one of the few images I'm willing to post although, trust me, it's not sharp. It's going to take a longer lens which I foresee in my future. Nonetheless, I love to see these beautiful birds out in the wild so I'm sharing this image regardless of its sharpness. ENJOY!

  1. The white against green is a great contrast. I like egrets, too.
