Oh Butterfly!

A Buckeye and a Painted Lady.
All captured on the same day at Bernheim and I saved them for you til now.
I'm afraid when I return to Bernheim, they'll be gone. As I went out to the car this morning, I discovered the leaves are turning on the trees. Reds, yellows and oranges. I can't wait. ENJOY!

  1. I'm always amazed by photographers that can get such great shots of butterflies. Beautiful images! You must have been as quiet as the breeze. :)

  2. These are really nice, Carol. They may stay around awhile. I don't know about the buckeyes, because we don't have them, but I am still seeing the ladies, and it is quite cool some days. Have a great weekend.

  3. Very nice. I also saw many in April, now only the Black Swallowtails are appearing. You caught the Buckeye well, the Buckeye has always been hard for me to catch!
