Bluegrass Early Fall

One of the images I took on a brief drive through the Bluegrass Region around Midway, Kentucky, today.
I've photographed this barn once before, but today surrounded by a sea of yellow I wanted to share a photo of it again. It was so beautiful. I'll post more images of my drive later this week. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. ENJOY!

  1. Glad you're out and about, Carol - the weather looks perfect. I like the barn sign and that yellow fall grass. I'm home!

  2. I remember the barns from that area. This is a fine example. We had rain all weekend, so didn't get out at all. Today though, has turned of gloriously beautiful. And, a near full moon will be coming up soon.

  3. Oh my goodness! I am your newest fan. Seriously. I am in awe of your photography.....and it means so much to me coming from Kentucky. Do you ever do tutorials on photography? I have so much to learn!

  4. The yellows are so beautiful Carol that I want to kick my shoes off and walk through it to the barn and peek around, then I'd lay down in the grass and watch the clouds float by. Wonderful!
