Lake Michigan

Did I mention it's been blue skies and sunshine for days on end here in the Bluegrass State . . .

Here's a couple of images I captured on my trip to Michigan.

Every day in Michigan we had beautiful blue skies along the lakeshore. Am I allowed to say I miss the lakeshore. It was so much fun near the water and walking on the beaches. Did you know aside from Florida, Michigan has some of the best beaches in America? I'm talking soft, fluffy sand. The kind of sand you can really sink your toes in too. ENJOY!

Blue Skies, Great Smoky Mountains

Blue skies was the order of the day last week as I made my way up the mountain road in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Beautiful blue skies and white fluffy clouds coupled with the endless blue smoke as far as one could see. Perfect weather to clear one's mind. I was sorry to hear that Maya Angelou had passed today. She was a great lady who brought us a message of quiet and peace. I am often reminded of that as I wonder the beautiful mountains and peer into the forest. ENJOY!

Happy 4th of July America!

Black Eyed Susans, Blue Skies and Queen Anne's Lace.

What more could you ask for on a summer day in Kentucky. Unfortunately, this isn't today but weeks ago while on a walk through the wildflower meadow at Bernheim. Today here in Kentucky, it's a rain drenched, dull dreary day for the 4th. Not to worry, the sun will come out again. Happy Fourth Everyone! ENJOY!
