Fences
One of my favorite images from my drive along the Bluegrass Scenic Byway a few weeks ago. I'm particularly fond of this photo as it features both the dark wooden fences that surround the historic horse farms, but also the beautiful limestone fences that this area of Kentucky is historically known for. Hope your weekend is going great. ENJOY!

Super capture of the feel of the place. Makes me want to go spend time there. Everyone should have the opportunity to visit this area in summer especially.
ReplyDeleteI remember the fences when we drove through your area, years ago. Do you have any idea what that flower is?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the flower is Sandy, but I do see them everywhere around Kentucky this summer. Carol
DeleteCarol, this is delightful! The flower is a type of Hydrangea, I'm not sure of the cultivar though.
ReplyDeleteThe light and shade seem to add to the movement in the photo. The hydrangea is lovely.
