Buckhorn Inn Trail
During my recent outing to the Smokies, I stayed at the Buckhorn Inn which is situated just outside of Gatlinburg. The Buckhorn Inn is a beautiful place to stay and allowed me to save time and gas getting into the park much quicker. My room had a fantastic mountain view and I could open the windows and listen to the birds chirping. The inn has a nice walking trail. I managed to get in a quick walk on the first morning of my visit after breakfast. Oh, did I mention breakfast was fantastic. Back to the trail, while walking, I encountered this persistent bumble bee who was so busy pollenating this beautiful bloom, I don't think he ever looked up. This isn't the sharpest image in the world, but I loved it as you can see the flutter of his wings which isn't always evident when you're photographing bees. Hope your weekend is a great one. ENJOY!

I can almost hear the buzzing wings looking at this. Well done Carol!
