I took a week long trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan five years ago and discovered Miner's Castle along Pictured Rocks National Seashore. The turret on the top right of the rock has since fallen into Lake Superior. I recently logged onto the Michigan tourism website and discovered there a photograph of Miner's Castle with the turret gone on the right. Needless to say, it felt weird looking at that photo. Time really does change everything. Lake Superior by the way is so beautiful.
