Blue Sky, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

One of many photos taken while traveling along the parkway in Great Smoky Mountains National Park this past summer. Such a beautiful, serene, calming place to spend a few days off from the every day. The blue skies weren't bad either. I mentioned in yesterday's post about "maybe it would snow" to bring me something to photograph in this dreary winter landscape. I get up this morning only to find a light dusting of snow had fallen. What are the odds of that happening? Enjoy!

  1. Hi Carol!! We had that dusting too. I'm sort of looking forward to a nice covering of snow as well. When it coats the branches and glistens in the sun it really does turn around a gray pallet! (Seeing all this green, however, reminds me what we're missing!! It's beautiful... You can see why they are called the Smoky Mountains in this photos!
