Lunch, Old Hickory Lake

A beautiful Great Blue Heron having lunch on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville. The temps which have been in the high 60's and low 70's, just a mere two weeks from Christmas, are about to drop like a rock, as 20's are predicted for this weekend. BRR! I hear Colorado got a new blanket of snow today. Please share. ENJOY!

  2. Love the textures and movement in this one, Carol. It is minus 15 wind chill in Breckenridge this AM! Lots of new snow, but it's almost too cold to enjoy it. Merry Christmas!

I hope to see you again soon to show us your bird photography skills and great captures such as this.

I was raised in Colorado, lived there for nearly 50 years before retiring to the Texas Coast...so I'm happy to hear THEY got snow. lol
