Early Spring Blooms, Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest
Just a little something to wet your whistle whilst Spring attempts to take hold. I spent some time hiking this afternoon before stopping at Isaac's Cafe for a bite to eat while at Bernheim. I love the cafe because it is environmentally friendly and has won many awards for that very fact. But I also like it because it has no real walls. Just lots of windows. As I walked around different areas of the arboretum, I tried to take in as many 'sprouts' as I could find.
Everything is just perking up or should I say greening up. I really enjoyed using my Nikon today to take these images. The shutter release is quicker, the on/off button is quicker. And having a real telephoto is so much nicer. Now I'm having to train myself not to get too close to get a close up because my telephoto doesn't require it. Habits are hard to break. Hope your weekend is going well. ENJOY!
