During a recent outing to Bernheim I decided to investigate a field of wildflowers growing just inside the main gate. It turns out the field is quite large and is growing wild with Yellow and Purple Coneflowers, Queen Anne's Lace, Tall Grasses and a whole lot more. It's not easy to take a photo of a field and translate it to the viewer as to exactly what you are seeing. This particular image does that in the best way I could possibly tell the story. ENJOY!
That is pretty, Carol. And, the thing about a wildflower meadow, is that everytime you visit, there will be a new configuration of blossoms and colors.
ReplyDeleteActually it's mostly yellow and purple coneflowers that they're letting bloom all summer. I dont' know what will bloom in the fall. It's just wild. I love wild fields of grasses and flowers. Carol
