Is it any wonder we have toadstools and mushrooms abound with all of the moist rainy days in the past few weeks. We've had rain every day for over a week and not just sprinkles but major storms. These 'rooms and 'stools are thriving at Bernheim. Hope you're having a wonderful week. ENJOY!
I have been out looking for them, but nothing here so far. You would think with all this rain, but maybe it has to be warm to grow mushrooms.
ReplyDeleteGreat shapes!
Excellent find. It will be months before we have these. Maybe in July or Aug. if its really wet. Wonderful photography
ReplyDeleteMushrooms come in so many shapes, sizes and colors. They are fun to search for and photograph. The edible Morel has a huge fan base of devoted harvesters. Interesting that I too have been photographing them this past week. During the brief periods between thunderstorms. There is one type have not investigated the name that look like cups or wine glasses. Enjoyed your photos of another amazing aspect of nature.
ReplyDeleteI imagine that's what we will be seeing before to long! Enough of this miserable Spring. Let's see some sunshine!
