This first image of the new year was taken on a blue sky day. Most days my camera travels with me. As I was getting out of the car, a mockingbird flew up on the bush next to my car and sat quietly. I took photo after photo and he barely moved.

I think he was taking stock of you as you were taking stock of him, Carol. The branches make an interesting symmetry with the bird.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good one, too. Our mockingbirds won't be back until May. Wouldn't it be something if that was one of ours. See if he has a Maine accent, okay?
