Bluegrass Scenic Byway!

There are spots many outdoor photographers frequent in all of our states that speak to a beautiful composition. Last February as I drove the byway, I stopped at one of my favorite spots to shoot a few photos. Other photographers, especially Kentucky photographers, photograph this spot often. The old osage trees are bare and the snow has covered the ground. The fence line seems to be holding it all at bay. I have a photo of this same spot during summer. It's a slide so I'll get it scanned and share it with you. I still have about 75 slides I should scan and post for you to see some of the beautiful images I captured back in the day of my Pentax camera shooting slide film. Hope everyone stays warm this bitterly cold weekend. I just might grab my camera and head for the byway this weekend to see what this snow and ice looks like. ENJOY!

POSTSCRIPT: I admit it. I'm a sucker for the Bluegrass Region. It is so beautiful. Please come visit one day. You won't be sorry.

  1. I recognized the trees. They look great in winter, especially with snow.
