Oftentimes we take a photo and then when we have time to view it, it's not quite what we were hoping for. That's what this photo was . . . until, Barb and Sandy wrote me today to say it's dull and dreary out there in Colorado and Maine. Well I'm here to provide a little bit of color to your life. Not much, mind you, but just a bit. Even though this wasn't my favorite photo then, it's in the red now. ENJOY!
Postscript: After a severe drought in Kentucky and Southern Indiana from August through October, it has ended. It has rained here for the past week nearly every single day and is raining as I post this. But I can't complain although normally I would. However, after seeing what the drought did to the outdoors, mum is the word.
Ohhhhh...just what I needed today, Carol. It has been so cold and blustery that I didn't even venture outside, which is unusual for me. I think the leaf looks like a heart. Thanks from the bottom of mine...

ReplyDeleteOur autumn was so bright this year, I really felt bad when it ended. Hard to believe it is December already.
It's nice to see that there's still some colour around! This is such a beautiful red.
