The Many Colors of Fall!

A scene I photographed several weeks ago on a quick stop at Mustatatuck NWR. This tree normally sits in several feet of water but as you can see not right now due to the severe drought. The sun was low in the sky. I like the colors it cast as the sidelight bathed the tree and the water. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. ENJOY!

  1. It is pretty. Do you have any idea what kind of tree that is? It sort of looks like the tamarack we have here.

  2. Wow! The water level is down.... Beautiful capture, though.

  3. Sandy, I have no idea what kind of tree this is. It might be a tamarack. Carol
