Deadlines. I love them when they're past. I've been a little, ok, a lot, remiss in posting of late as I've been on a tighter than normal deadline with the magazine. But I'm going to get to breath as the deadline is almost past. And if the deadlines are bad enough have you seen this weather in Kentucky lately. Ugly! Wet, damp, soggy, rainy, stormy, windy. We've had it all and it has stayed for way too long. I just can't take much more. I'm going out this weekend no matter the weather, the work or anything else. I think I can. I think I can. This is a quick pick I took of one of the pots on my patio. Enjoy!

  1. I'm glad I don't have too many deadlines any more, unless you count the 'to do list at home'!
Sorry to about the continuing poor weather but I agree that you should 'GO FOR IT' this weekend and capture a bit of the Kentucky landscape.
Take care and have some fun...FAB.

That is a good combination of plants in that pot. I am not very good at putting things together, but I admire other people's work.

I am looking forward to your weekend photos. Hope you don't have more rain. By the way, we had heavy rain all day yesterday, but I didn't mind as I had lots of indoor jobs to do.
    Happy snapping!

  3. The container plants are thriving and your deadline is soon finished. It's cool and windy on my travels, too and STILL snowing in the mountains of CO! Enjoy your spring.
