Frozen Pond, Kentucky

Yesterday I posted an image of a frozen pond I took while out on Saturday afternoon. But the photo really didn't reflect what I saw while I stood taking the photograph. With the help of Lighroom I pulled the blue cast out as much as Lightroom would allow and what was revealed was a photo much like the scene I saw as I stood looking out over the frozen pond. Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy!

  1. Hey Carol,

You might try when shooting RAW to shoot with your white balance in cloudy. If it's an ultra blue heavy shade situation and cloudy skies even your shady white balance setting might do the trick. Most of the time shady white balance tends to be a bit too warm though. Happy Valentines Day to you as well!

  2. What a beautiful scene. Your feelings were conveyed well with this photo. I love the greens in the surrounding trees.
