Jordan Pond, Bubble Mountains, Acadia NP, Maine
Back in 2009 I posted this image of Jordan Pond. I captured this image in August 2008, the prior summer, and the Bubble Mountains in Acadia National Park, were green with foliage and Jordan Pond was beautiful on this crystal clear, blue sky day. It is the one and only time I had visited this far north in Maine and I enjoyed every moment. To me it was like a paradise. By that I mean, it was so drastically different from Kentucky. But further still, it was very different from many national parks I'd frequented in the past like Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and even Lake Superior National Seashore. I digress. The reason I'm posting this image again, is because this image has received more pageviews than any single image I've posted before or after. I'm not certain why that is, but I felt obligated to give it it's place in history and repost it. ENJOY!

This is a lovely photo, but I agree - who knows why people view a certain post more than others. I think maybe they're planning a visit and Google the area. My Black Powder Pass posts always garner the most hits - mostly because it's popular for hiking. Still didn't solve your Blogger problem?
ReplyDeleteBarb, haven't solved it yet and I've noticed a few other sites with the same issue but only a couple. Carol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! Acadia NP is high on my wish list of places to photograph.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Barb. Your post is coming up in searches. Anyone finding that shot would be inspired to visit the park.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have noticed that if you name each post according to what it is, it will come up often. That goes butterflies, flowers, and etc, as well as places.
